Phew "It ain't half hot Mum"
David’s got a bee in his bonnet again !
OK, so what is this time it David?
Hello again, Phew! “It ain’t half hot Mum”
Yet Virtually all lawns from the Midlands south are burnt dry, and are even crisp to walk on.
Defying all logic some “lawn care companies /individuals are still spraying lawns for what?
These operators defy their claim to be lawn care providers, and obviously have no technical grasp of the biology of soils, its conditions, and the growing environment of producing the desired result of a rich green sward.
Virtually no topical applications of agro chemical or fertiliser can work in the present extreme dry conditions, and it is time the public realised that the ethics of some companies leaves a lot to be desired from simply to extracting money for what can only be ineffectual treatments.
All our loyal band of customers who are acting professionals who understand the basic agronomics of growing a grass crop, which is what it boils down to, need to stand up and be counted, also need to disassociate themselves with this bad practice.
Those that may reluctantly realise they need to alter their approach, could do the industry a favour with changing their modus operandi, even their employment if necessary, unless they are prepared to upgrade their education some from their days in previous non related backgrounds.
Help is available to those that seek knowledge, and wish to become part of an ongoing professional group.
Various professional people within the industry along with some experienced specialist suppliers may help if asked.
Why not make a start whilst you sit back and take stock and prepare for the green up in the Autumn. – The moss will be back!
