Whilst now having had a Summer break you need to prepare for the Autumn spray applications for a last chance herbicide, fungicide & fertiliser applications.
Moss is back big time on most lawns, and is quite thick so it will need a penetrating spray to control it, with a really good water soluble iron sulphate.
The chemical is only as good as its application so don’t just paint the surface, really use the smart precision method. It might be a good idea to treat yourself to a set of air inclusion /IDK nozzles like ISO Grey 120°-06 which are able to give you flow rates which will allow you by crossing at 90° get in deep with 800 – 1000 litres /ha.
Perhaps you need a dedicated Iron sulphate sprayer at a lower cost than your “Best” sprayer - perhaps consider a European one fitted with a lower cost piston pump! There are many affordable options and alternatives.
